WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC PLAYS ON THE STATION?

We play strictly urban music (genres including rap/hip-hop, r&b/soul, pop & instrumental). Four minutes worth of ads play along with a handful of shout outs/station IDs per hour.

Yes, our station can be played on both of those devices! We recommend downloading one of the following radio directory apps, that our station is listed on, for listening:

How can I listen to the station while in my car?

To listen while in your car, we suggest downloading one of the apps listed in the previous question (make sure you are not doing this while driving!). Have your mobile device or tablet connected to the car's stereo. Find our station within the app and click play!

Why do ads play on your station?

Ads air on our station to help us pay for hosting fees and to keep the station going! Only 4 of them air an hour and in short 30 second slots.

Is it free to listen to the station?

Yes, it is free of charge! Referring to the previous question, airing ads keeps us from charging any listening fees/subscriptions.

Does explicit music play?

Yes, explicit music plays on the station.

Can I make song requests?

At this point in time, we do not have a 'song request' feature. However, if there is a track on the station that you loved, tell us about it via Email (info@thegradio.com).
